About The Position

National Fitness Partners is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative at its Prince Frederick, Maryland location. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 4:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and starts at $15 per hour. Hourly increases are provided at 180 days, one year, and every six months after the first year, based on the employee’s anniversary date. The representative provides customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests while helping maintain an exceptional Judgement Free member experience and a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during the shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during the shift.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Answer phone calls in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Help provide a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.
