First Shift Housekeeper (M-F)

About The Position

The Housekeeper works first shift Monday through Friday in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves cleaning assigned residential rooms and common areas, maintaining restrooms and supplies, using laundry equipment, and supporting other building specialty areas as needed. The position is full-time and pays $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.

Requirements

• Prior housekeeping, laundry, or janitorial experience is preferred.
• A solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• High school diploma/GED or 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to complete required safety classes.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass drug test and FBI/BCI background checks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, sweep, and dust assigned residential rooms and common areas.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Clean and supply restrooms.
• Remove waste and empty trash.
• Use industrial washer and dryer.
• Maintain a cleaning chart indicating areas cleaned and inspected.
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage areas.
• Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerns requiring repairs or maintenance.
• Assist as needed in other specialty areas of the building, including assisted living, long-term care, and laundry.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
