About The Position

West Shores Senior Living, a Sonida Senior Living community in Hot Springs, Arkansas, provides care to residents in an Independent Living and Assisted Living community. The Certified Nursing Assistant performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care, including helping residents with personal care, meals, medication reminders, and transfers, and reporting changes in residents’ behavior or condition to the Assisted Living Director. The advertised schedule is 2–10, Monday through Friday. Requirements

Must hold current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state.
High school graduate or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with dressing, grooming, and bathing, and escort and transfer them.
Assist residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing appropriate fluids, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for them.
Recognize changes in residents’ behavior and condition and report those changes to the Assisted Living Director.
