About The Position
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents. Working on the front lines of resident care, CNAs help ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and have choices in their lives. This role provides direct resident care, reports condition changes to an RN or LPN, and documents care in the POC system. The position is with Benedictine, a nonprofit senior care organization founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica and guided by the values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice.
Requirements
- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care.
- Report resident condition changes to an RN or LPN.
- Chart in the POC system.
- Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
