About The Position

The House Attendant supports the hotel’s housekeeping team by maintaining clean public spaces and assisting room attendants. The role contributes to a memorable guest experience through attention to detail, responsive service, and care in preparing and maintaining hotel areas. Duties include collecting linen and trash, restocking floor pantries, delivering requested items to guest rooms, helping with room cleaning when needed, and cleaning public areas according to department procedures.

Requirements

Neat appearance and a pleasant personality.
Time management skills.
Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach floor corners and high places; observe conditions and detect odors; and position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 pounds in tight spaces.
Ability to operate spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
Work as part of a team to achieve resort and hotel cleanliness goals.
Walk assigned floors at the beginning and end of each shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen.
Pick up clean linen and refill linen par stock in each floor pantry.
Deliver towels, cribs, cots, and other requested items to guest rooms.
Perform room attendant duties when necessary.
Refill guest amenities and supplies in each floor pantry.
Assist room attendants with heavy lifting during super cleaning or spring cleaning.
Clean public areas according to prescribed methods and department standard operating procedures.
Remove soiled linen and trash from service areas and take them to appropriate locations.
Respond to guests and team members in a friendly and helpful manner.
