Hourly Technician (Hyundai NK)
About The Position
Nucar Hyundai of North Kingstown is seeking Hourly Technicians to join its team. This position is intended for automotive technicians who prefer hourly compensation over flat-rate work and want to build their knowledge and skills. Candidates should have at least one year of automotive service experience, including knowledge and experience in drivability and engine diagnostics. The work also emphasizes preventive maintenance, alignments, brake service, related repairs, and repairs ranging up to major engine work. Technicians are expected to take pride in completing work correctly the first time. Repair bays are equipped with tools for servicing modern vehicles.
Requirements
- At least one year of automotive service experience.
- Knowledge and experience in drivability and engine diagnostics.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Perform automotive service and repairs, including preventive maintenance, alignments, brake service, related repairs, and major engine repairs.
- Diagnose drivability and engine issues.
- Complete work correctly the first time.
