About The Position

McDonald Hyundai in Highlands Ranch is seeking an experienced main line technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in a modern, fully equipped service center. The role is compensated based on flagged hours, with average compensation of $23–$48 per flat-rate hour and potential performance-based bonuses, overtime pay, and other incentives. Requirements

At least 3 years of main line technician experience.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to drive and handle vehicles of various makes, models, and sizes.
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
Working knowledge of shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, electrical systems, engine equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, and AC equipment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
Tear down, repair, replace, or rebuild faulty assemblies, including power systems, steering systems, linkages, pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels, and repair manual and automatic transmissions.
Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to people without mechanical expertise.
