About The Position

Korum Automotive Group is seeking experienced Hyundai Certified Service Technicians to perform routine maintenance and customer repairs. Candidates should have strong mechanical abilities and a desire to learn. The role involves completing repair orders to dealership standards, diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, communicating additional service needs to the Service Advisor, and performing warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications. Pay is $25.83 to $46.89 hourly flat rate, with Hyundai certifications required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year of related experience or alternative training.
• Dexterity requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
• Enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others as a teammate.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to test-drive vehicles.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Hyundai certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers are informed when additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
