About The Position
Modern Hyundai/Genesis of Concord is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician to join their growing service team. This role is for skilled, motivated individuals ready to work in a professional, well-equipped shop with opportunities for growth. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive technician experience.
- Dealership experience strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to road-test vehicles.
- Knowledge of diagnostic equipment, alignment systems, tire equipment, and A/C service equipment.
- Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Nice To Haves
- Hyundai or Genesis experience is a plus.
- ASE certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs according to dealership standards.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, drivability, suspension, and other vehicle systems.
- Complete routine maintenance, oil changes, fluid exchanges, and other services as needed.
- Identify vehicle concerns and communicate findings clearly to service advisors.
- Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
- Use diagnostic tools, shop equipment, and manufacturer procedures to complete repairs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.
