Hourly Manager
About The Position
The Hourly Manager is part of the restaurant’s Management Team and coaches and develops team members to support their success and the success of the store. The role helps lead the team in delivering made-to-order menu items and a welcoming guest experience centered on food and hospitality. Hourly Managers assist management with daily operations, including leading and motivating team members, meeting expectations, controlling labor and food costs, and building guest relationships. They often lead the restaurant during their shift, supporting smooth operations with an emphasis on speed of service, hospitality, safety, and cleanliness. They help recruit and retain team members through effective leadership, coaching, and recognition. The role also helps create a restaurant culture where guests receive exceptional hospitality and high-quality food, and team members enjoy their work.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have prior restaurant experience; the posting also lists prior restaurant and/or hospitality experience.
- Strong communication skills and a hospitality focus.
- Ability to help build a team and mentor team members.
- Ability to learn new skills and demonstrate a self-starting personality.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manners.
- Available to work a variety of hours, including days, nights, and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in operations, management, inventory, scheduling, and guest relations is preferred but not required.
- Experience with financial statements is preferred but not required.
