About The Position

Copart is seeking Hotshot Drivers with a Class A license for its FlexForce team. Drivers operate hotshot-style trucks with five-car trailers to support local Copart facilities by transporting vehicles to and from other Copart locations. When not driving, they operate a front-end loader to load, unload, and move vehicles around the facility. Drivers may be deployed to locations across the country for special projects or catastrophe response, including hurricanes, hail, and flooding. The role involves national travel, potentially on short notice and for extended periods. Pay is $27.33 per hour, with piece-rate driving pay and the potential to earn $75,000 or more annually; top performers earn $100,000 annually. An hourly rate applies when not driving, and traveling employees receive $45 per day in per diem.

Requirements

• At least one year of car-hauling experience.
• A valid Class A driver's license issued by the applicant's state of residence.
• Meet background screening criteria.
• Willingness and ability to travel, including by airplane, sometimes with 24 hours or less notice.
• Ability to work long hours, including 12 or more hours per day when needed.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions, weather, and terrain.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationally on short notice for extended periods as needed.

• Maintain and ensure the good operating condition of equipment and facilities.
• Operate a front-end loader to load, unload, and move vehicles around the Copart facility when not driving.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the manager in support of daily operations.
