About The Position

Copart is seeking Hotshot Drivers with a Class A license for its FlexForce team. Drivers operate hotshot-style trucks with five-car trailers to transport vehicles between Copart locations and support local facility operations. When not driving, they operate frontend loaders to load, unload, and move vehicles around the facility. Drivers may be deployed nationally to support catastrophe response, including hurricanes, hail, and flooding. The role involves travel, sometimes by airplane, and may require extended assignments and long workdays. Copart uses a piece-rate-based pay system while driving and pays an hourly rate when drivers are not driving. The posting states an earning potential of $75,000 or more annually, with top performers earning $100,000 annually, and lists pay at $24.60 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of car-hauling experience.
A Class A driver's license issued by the driver's state of residence.
Meet background screening criteria.
Be willing to travel with 24 hours or less notice, including nationally and sometimes by airplane.
Be able to work long hours of 12 or more hours per day when needed.
Be able to work in extreme conditions, weather, and terrain.
Demonstrate commitment to safety, productivity, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Travel nationally on short notice for extended periods.
Deploy to catastrophe events within 24 hours when directed.
Pick up and deliver vehicles to designated Copart facilities.
Safely load and unload vehicles without causing damage.
Operate company equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain Hours of Service logs.
Maintain and ensure the good operating condition of equipment and facilities.
Operate frontend loaders to load, unload, and move cars around the Copart facility when not driving.
Support daily operations by completing other tasks as assigned by the manager.
