About The Position

Copart is seeking Hotshot Drivers for its FlexForce team. Drivers operate hotshot-style trucks with five-car trailers, supporting local Copart facilities by transporting vehicles to and from other Copart locations. When not driving, drivers operate frontend loaders to load, unload, and move vehicles around the Copart facility. Drivers may be deployed nationally to support special projects and catastrophe response, including hurricanes, hail, and flooding.

The role uses piece-rate pay while driving and an hourly rate when not driving. The posting states an earning potential of $75,000 or more per year, with top performers earning $100,000 per year, and lists pay at $24.60 per hour. Drivers must be willing to travel nationally on short notice for extended periods and may travel by airplane. Requirements

• At least one year of car-hauling experience.
• A Class A driver's license issued by the driver's state of residence.
• Meet background screening criteria.
• Willingness to travel nationally, including by airplane, with 24 hours or less notice and for extended periods.
• Ability to work long hours, including 12 or more hours per day when needed.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions, weather, and terrain.
• Professional, hardworking, focused, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationally on short notice for extended periods to support other facilities and catastrophe response.
• Deploy to catastrophe events within 24 hours when directed.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to designated Copart facilities.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and without damage.
• Operate company equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Operate a frontend loader to load, unload, and move cars around the Copart facility when not driving.
• Maintain Hours of Service logs.
• Maintain and ensure the good operating condition of equipment and facilities.
• Support daily operations by completing other tasks assigned by the manager.
