About The Position

Copart is seeking Hotshot Drivers for its FlexForce team. Drivers operate hotshot-style trucks with five-car trailers to move vehicles to and from local Copart facilities and other Copart locations. When not driving, they operate frontend loaders to load, unload, and move cars around Copart facilities. During special projects or catastrophes such as hurricanes, hail, or flooding, drivers may be deployed to locations across the country to assist with catastrophe response. The position involves national travel, sometimes by airplane, and may require extended deployments on short notice. Pay includes an hourly rate when not driving and piece-rate-based compensation for driving. The posting states earning potential of $75,000 or more annually, with top performers earning $100,000 annually, and also lists pay of $24.60 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of car-hauling experience.
• A Class A driver's license issued by the driver's state of residence.
• Meet background-screening criteria.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationally, including by airplane, on 24 hours' notice or less and for extended periods.
• Ability to work long hours of 12 or more hours per day when needed.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions, weather, and terrain.
• Professional, hardworking, focused, and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationally on short notice for extended periods.
• Deploy to catastrophe events within 24 hours when directed.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to designated Copart facilities.

• Maintain a commitment to safety, productivity, and professionalism.

• Maintain and ensure the good operating condition of equipment and facilities.
• Operate frontend loaders to load, unload, and move vehicles around Copart facilities when not driving.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the manager in support of daily operations.
