About The Position

Copart, Inc. is a global technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform, with over 200 facilities worldwide. We connect vehicle sellers with over 750,000 buyers in more than 190 countries. Copart is seeking hotshot transport drivers for their FlexForce team. These drivers will operate hotshot-style trucks with 5-car trailers, supporting local Copart facilities by moving vehicles between locations. When not driving, drivers will operate frontend loaders to move cars within the facility. During special projects or catastrophes, drivers will be deployed nationally to assist in Catastrophe Response (hurricane, hail, flooding). Copart offers competitive pay in the auto transportation industry, with a piece rate-based system offering potential earnings of $75,000/year, with top performers earning $100,000/year. Drivers earn an hourly rate when not driving.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year car hauling experience
Class A driver's license is required
Must meet background screening criteria
Must possess a Class A Driver's License issued by your state of residence
Must be able to work long hours 12+ hours per day when needed
Be able to travel with 24 hours or less notice
Ability to work in extreme conditions, weather, and terrain.

Responsibilities

Must be willing to travel nationally on short notice for extended periods of time
Deploy to catastrophe events within 24 hours when directed to do so
Pick-up and delivery of vehicles to designated Copart facility
Load/unload vehicles safely and free of damage
Operate company equipment in compliance with safety regulations
Commitment to safety, productivity, and professionalism
Maintain Hours of Service logs
Maintain and assure good operating condition of all equipment and facilities
Other tasks as assigned by the manager in support of daily operations
