About The Position

The Hotel Night Auditor works at the hotel front desk during the night and ensures that the establishment’s quality and integrity are maintained as diligently as during the day. The role handles accounting reconciliation, front desk activity, guest services, documentation, end-of-day procedures, and inquiries about potential bookings. The position is at Four Points by Sheraton Detroit Novi, located in Novi’s shopping and entertainment district.

Responsibilities

• Balance the accounts from the day shift.
• Manage front desk activity and handle guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Schedule wake-up calls and other concierge activities according to guest preferences to support customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer requests and complaints and direct other employees or departments accordingly.
• Create invoices, bills, and checks for vendors, employees, and contractors.
• Manage and update official documentation pertaining to the role.
• Ensure that end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments.
• Answer calls and queries related to potential bookings.
