About The Position

Town Pump Hotel Group is seeking a motivated, outgoing Hotel Breakfast Attendant who will model its mission of “Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service.” The role supports the daily operation of the complimentary hotel breakfast and follows Town Pump and brand operational standards. The attendant prepares and serves food, monitors food presentation and quality, and maintains food and service areas, equipment, and inventories. The role may also assist other departments as needed, including folding laundry and cleaning the lobby.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend oral and written instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to work independently and compute basic math.
Strong work ethic and a high degree of pride and integrity in job performance.
Ability to communicate courteously and professionally with teammates and management and engage with guests in an outgoing manner.
Ability to follow food-handling guidelines and workplace safety practices.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of food preparation and service using commercial kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, chafing dishes, coffee makers, dishwashers, and refrigeration.

Responsibilities

Set up the daily complimentary breakfast in accordance with Town Pump and brand operational standards.
Prepare food for guests using commercial kitchen equipment and maintain knowledge of food preparation and service.
Continuously monitor service-line presentation items to meet brand and quality standards.
Store and handle food items according to established guidelines and maintain inventories to minimize spoilage.
Complete required company and brand-specific training and certifications in a timely manner.
Wear the required uniform and name tag on shift and follow Town Pump grooming and appearance guidelines.
Clean and maintain food-service equipment and areas where food is prepared, served, or consumed, including emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and scrubbing.
Report known issues involving services, equipment, and property and ensure work orders are in place.
Adjust to fluctuations in business levels and practice safe working conditions under OSHA guidelines, including Bloodborne Pathogens requirements.
Perform duties in other departments as needed, such as folding laundry or cleaning the lobby.
Communicate courteously and professionally with teammates and management, and engage with guests in an outgoing manner.
