About The Position

Maintains established quality standards for the breakfast bar, including setup, servicing and maintenance, teardown, and cleanup. Assists guests in a courteous and tactful manner. Keeps the kitchen, lobby, and other assigned areas clean and orderly, and follows company and hotel policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow shift instructions from the Manager.
• Maintain the breakfast bar’s quality standards throughout breakfast hours.
• Survey the breakfast bar and restock items as needed.
• Maintain the inventory needed to operate the breakfast bar.
• Tear down the breakfast bar at the end of service.
• Empty trash in the breakfast bar area and great room as needed.
• Wash, dry, and put away dishes and utensils appropriately.
• Keep the kitchen neat and orderly at all times.
• Sweep and mop the lobby as needed.
• Clean public restrooms daily.
• Vacuum rugs as needed.
• Clean glass entrance doors as needed.
• Keep countertops clear and clean, and cupboards and drawers orderly and clean.
• Clean the inside of the refrigerator and freezer as needed.
• Obtain supervisor approval before leaving at the end of the shift.
• Comply with company policies.
• Turn lighting on or off according to hotel policy.
• Report to work each day in a clean, pressed uniform with a nametag.
• Greet each guest with a smile and greeting.
• Attend staff meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
