About The Position

The Hotel Breakfast Attendant prepares and serves the daily breakfast bar, greets guests, and helps ensure they are comfortable and satisfied. The role maintains the breakfast area in accordance with brand standards, follows safe food handling and service practices, prepares and sets out hot and cold foods and beverages, and keeps supplies stocked. It also involves cleaning tables, equipment, counters, cabinets, and floors; managing food and supply inventory; and listening and responding to guest requests and complaints. This position is for weekends only.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve the daily breakfast bar, greet guests, and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
Set up and maintain the breakfast bar in accordance with brand standards.
Follow safe food handling and service practices.
Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.
Prepare foods such as eggs, sausage, bacon, and waffle batter.
Stock coffee, juice, and milk dispensers.
Set up serving dishes, trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products.
Arrange cold foods such as pastries and cereals.
Prepare and set up hot food items according to brand menu requirements.
Clear and clean tables as guests finish using them, and wipe up spills.
Restock items throughout breakfast hours and for the following day.
Wash serving equipment and return it to storage; return reusable food supplies to storage.
Keep the breakfast area and kitchen clean, including removing trash and cleaning counters, cabinets, and floors.
Listen and respond to guest requests and complaints.
