About The Position

As a Host at Diablo Cantina at MGM National Harbor, you are the first point of contact for restaurant guests and help create a welcoming dining experience. You greet guests promptly and courteously, assist callers with reservation and restaurant inquiries, maintain accurate reservation records, ensure menus are current and presentable, and keep assigned work areas clean, sanitary, and organized.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.

• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant.
• Assist callers with inquiries about reservations, restaurant hours, menu options, and special requests.
• Maintain an accurate account of reservations and regularly update reservation details.
• Check menus regularly to ensure they reflect the latest changes and are neat and in good condition.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas, including the host podium.
