About The Position

Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach is hiring a Host for Lah De Dah. The Host is one of the first people guests encounter and helps set the tone for a memorable dining experience through a thoughtful welcome and genuine hospitality. The role includes managing reservations and waitlists, maintaining guest service standards, and helping ensure the restaurant is welcoming, safe, and clean. Hosts may also assist with other duties that support resort operations and guest satisfaction.

The position requires working outdoors in a non-climate-controlled environment and spending more than half of the time standing and walking. The role is based at Lah De Dah at Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach in Florida.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills in person and on the phone.
• Ability to stand and walk more than 50% of the time.
• Ability to work outdoors in a non-climate-controlled environment, including heat, sun, cold, and rainy conditions.
• Ability to lift or carry more than 20 pounds.
• Punctuality and regular, consistent attendance.
• Commitment to contributing to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet established guest service standards and strive to exceed guest expectations.
• Use reservation systems such as OpenTable and manage waitlists efficiently while communicating effectively with guests.
• Work with the supervisor to meet or exceed expectations and fulfill the responsibilities of the Host position.
• Take pride in the restaurant’s appearance, atmosphere, and guest experience.
• Follow safety protocols and cleanliness standards to help maintain a safe and healthy environment for guests and associates.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management to support resort operations and guest satisfaction.
