About The Position

Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach is hiring a Host for JWB Grill. The Host is one of the first people guests encounter and helps create a memorable dining experience through a thoughtful welcome and genuine hospitality. JWB Grill is located on the resort’s second floor and features Gulf views, a chef-driven menu with fresh seafood and prime steaks, and a polished yet relaxed, high-energy atmosphere. The Host is expected to meet or exceed guest-service standards, use reservation and waitlist systems efficiently, communicate effectively with guests, and work with a supervisor to fulfill the expectations of the role. The position also involves caring for the restaurant’s appearance and atmosphere, following safety and cleanliness standards, and assisting with other duties as assigned to support resort operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer-service skills, both in person and on the phone.
Ability to stand and walk more than 50% of the time.
Ability to work outdoors in a non-climate-controlled environment, including heat, sun, cold, and rain.
Ability to lift or carry more than 20 pounds.
Punctuality and regular, consistent attendance.
Commitment to contributing to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Meet established guest-service standards and strive to exceed guest expectations.
Use reservation systems such as OpenTable and manage waitlists efficiently.
Communicate effectively with guests in person and by phone.
Work with a supervisor to understand and fulfill the expectations of the Host position.
Take pride in the restaurant’s appearance, atmosphere, and guest experience.
Follow safety protocols and cleanliness standards to help maintain a safe, healthy environment for guests and associates.
Perform other related duties assigned by management to support resort operations and guest satisfaction.
