About The Position

Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach is seeking a Bartender for JWB Grill. The role focuses on preparing drinks and providing outstanding, friendly guest service in an elevated dining setting. Bartenders work with an energetic team to create memorable guest experiences and support smooth restaurant and resort operations. JWB Grill is located on the resort’s second floor and offers Gulf views, a chef-driven menu featuring fresh seafood and prime steaks, and a high-energy atmosphere that is both polished and relaxed. TPI Hospitality operates more than 30 hotels and restaurants in Minnesota and Florida and describes a culture of empowerment and opportunities for advancement or transfer.

Requirements

Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
Understanding of how to use a POS system.
One year of previous bartending experience.
Understanding of alcohol laws and guidelines.
Strong organizational skills.
Punctuality and regular, consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet guests, respond promptly to their needs, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor.
Stay current on beverage trends and provide informed recommendations and a diverse drink selection.
Keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked with supplies, ingredients, and equipment.
Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while monitoring bar flow and guest satisfaction.
Use the POS system to open and close tabs, process payments, and maintain organized transaction records.
Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines, enforce age restrictions, and monitor alcohol consumption.
Coordinate with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to support smooth operations and an exceptional dining experience.
Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally and proactively, seeking satisfactory resolutions.
Perform other related duties assigned by management to support resort operations and guest satisfaction.
