About The Position

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Host to join Hotel 1928. The Host welcomes restaurant guests, provides information about the area, and ensures guests are seated fairly and consistently. The role also supports restaurant operations by managing reservations and the host stand, maintaining cleanliness and accuracy, assisting with bussing tables, and refilling beverages for servers when needed. Additional restaurant- and customer-service-related duties may be assigned.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred.
Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certification, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests, including restaurant guests.
Be knowledgeable about the area and provide information when asked.
Seat guests fairly and consistently.
Accurately handle paperwork and keep the host stand stocked and tidy.
Answer incoming calls and accurately book guest reservations.
Check floors and tables for accuracy and cleanliness.
Assist with bussing tables.
Help servers by refilling beverages when needed.
Perform other restaurant- and customer-service-related requests for guests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
