About The Position
Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Host to join Hotel 1928. The Host welcomes and assists restaurant guests, provides information about the area, manages seating and reservations, and supports the restaurant team with maintaining the host stand and dining area. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, multitasking, and flexibility to work different hours and shifts. One year of experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred. Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications are required if applicable. Benefits and compensation details are subject to eligibility and will be discussed during the interview process.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests.
- Greet restaurant guests, provide information about the area, and answer questions.
- Seat guests fairly and consistently.
- Accurately handle paperwork and keep the host stand stocked and tidy.
- Answer incoming calls and accurately book guest reservations.
- Check the floor and tables for accuracy and cleanliness, and assist with bussing tables.
- Refill beverages for servers when needed.
- Fulfill other restaurant and customer service-related guest requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
