About The Position

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Bus Person (identified in the posting as a Food Runner) to join Hotel 1928. The role supports restaurant service by welcoming guests, delivering food orders, bussing and resetting tables, and assisting wait staff. The position also requires familiarity with menu offerings, hotel art and decor, and local recommendations. The employee completes side work, follows uniform and grooming specifications, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certification, if applicable.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.

Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

One year of experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests.
Deliver food orders based on restaurant needs.
Assist with bussing and resetting tables throughout service.
Understand menu offerings and speak knowledgeably about each item to customers.
Become acquainted with the hotel’s art and decor and speak about them.
Represent the community and know local places to recommend.
Complete side work duties.
Assist wait staff as needed.
Follow uniform and grooming specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
