About The Position

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Bartender to join Hotel 1928 and its hospitality team. The Bartender prepares and serves drinks according to bar standards and guest preferences, maintains a clean and sanitized bar area, supports guest satisfaction, and follows responsible alcohol service practices. The role also includes securing beverages, food, equipment, and cash at closing, along with other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Safe Serving certification required.
Knowledge of alcohol-serving practices and standards.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Set up the bar with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, crushes, additives, soda, and other supplies.
Keep the bar, glasses, and cutlery clean and sanitized.
Ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcohol.
Prepare drink orders according to bar standards and guest preferences.
Present bar bills and accept payment.
Engage guests and ensure they are satisfied.
Monitor guests for alcohol overconsumption and take necessary steps.
Lock up and store beverages, food, and equipment; deposit cash drops and secure the bank.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
