About The Position

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Dish Steward to join Hotel 1928. The role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and other kitchen items; maintaining the dish room and dish machine; and keeping dish and storage areas clean and organized. The Dish Steward also removes garbage and helps clean other restaurant areas as requested. Other duties may be assigned.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED. Candidates should be able to work flexible hours and shifts, work as part of a team, exceed guest expectations, and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots.
• Maintain the dish room and dish machine.
• Restock dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Remove all garbage.
• Break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of the shift.
• Keep dish and other storage areas clean and organized.
• Assist with cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
