About The Position

The Host welcomes Guests to Chili’s and helps create a warm, hospitable first impression. The role includes managing the wait list, answering and directing telephone calls, communicating Guest concerns to the Manager when appropriate, and supporting fellow Team Members. Hosts contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming restaurant environment. The position requires working on your feet for extended periods and safely lifting and maneuvering food trays when needed. No experience is necessary.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring attitude, ready to greet Guests with a smile.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every Guest.
• Manage the wait list.
• Communicate Guest concerns to the Manager when appropriate.
• Answer telephone within three rings and direct calls.
• Help fellow Team Members when appropriate.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
