About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Hostess/Cashier Professional is an essential part of the customer experience, serving guests who stop in for frozen yogurt or seating guests meeting for a sit-down meal. The restaurant team delivers an engaging experience through excellent service, knowledge of menu selections, and awareness of store events. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and present information clearly and concisely.
• Enjoys interacting with customers.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and enthusiastically, and inform them of wait times.
• Accommodate guests when needed.
• Use the register proficiently.
