About The Position

As a Hospitality Technician, you will support patient care and service by working in multiple locations and departments, including Environmental Services, Nutrition Services, Reception, Patient Transport, and Supply Chain. Communication and collaboration with team members are essential to maintaining continuity of service and fostering a positive work environment. The role contributes to patients’ experiences by helping provide a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment and offering courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Customer service and/or other related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Patient Transport experience preferred, with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred within 90 days.
• Accredited Food Handler certification from the ANSI National Accreditation Board preferred within 90 days.
• Accredited Food Allergy Certificate from the ANSI National Accreditation Board preferred within 90 days.
• Accredited Food Protection Manager (CFP) certification from the ANSI National Accreditation Board preferred within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Refer to and perform the functions of the assigned role, including using its associated technology.
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff, visitors, and patients or residents to provide a high level of customer service and care.
• Contribute to the patient care team by helping maintain a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.
• Greet and assist visitors, staff, and patients in navigating the hospital to reach their destinations.
• Complete assigned special projects with specific direction.
