About The Position

As a Hospitality Technician, you will work in multiple locations and departments, including Environmental Services, Nutrition Services, Reception, Patient Transport, and Supply Chain. Communication and collaboration with team members are essential to maintain continuity of service and foster a positive work environment. This position is part of the patient care team and contributes to the patient experience by helping provide a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.

The role requires communicating with hospital staff, visitors, and patients or residents, and assisting people as they navigate the hospital. You may also complete special projects with specific direction. The job summary identifies the role as a Support Services Technician.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Customer service and/or other related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Patient Transport experience preferred within 90 days, with an AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Patient Transport experience preferred within 90 days, with an American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ANSI National Accreditation Board Accredited Food Handler certification preferred within 90 days.
• ANSI National Accreditation Board Accredited Food Allergy Certificate preferred within 90 days.
• ANSI National Accreditation Board Accredited Food Protection Manager (CFP) certification preferred within 90 days.

Responsibilities
