About The Position

The Hospitality Summer Intern participates in a structured, on-the-job practical learning experience over the course of a 10-week program. The intern rotates among various hotel departments and participates in virtual student enrichment workshops hosted by the Drury learning department. The role is located at Drury Inn & Suites, 160 State Farm Parkway, Birmingham, Alabama 35209.

Requirements

• Have strong customer service and critical thinking skills.
• Have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Be able to speak and receive direction in English.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between various hotel departments as part of a practical learning experience.
• Participate in virtual student enrichment workshops hosted by the Drury learning department.
• Receive and respond to written and verbal direction.
• Engage with constructive feedback and professional development.
