About The Position

The Hospitality Associate III acts as a liaison between patients, Food and Nutrition Services, and Nursing Services. The role attends to patient requests for meals, nourishments, and snacks; obtains patient meal orders; makes accurate menu modifications; and communicates effectively with the patient services manager, nursing, dietitian, and production staff as needed. The position also cleans and sanitizes meal service areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or five years of experience in lieu of the diploma or GED.
Two years of related experience; requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills.
Food Handler certificate of training.
ServSafe Allergens Essentials certificate of training within three months of hire.
