About The Position

The Hospitality Associate serves as a liaison between patients, Food and Nutrition Services, and Nursing Services. The role attends to patient requests for meals, nourishments, and snacks; obtains patient meal orders; accurately modifies menus; communicates as needed with the patient services manager, nursing, dietitian, and production staff; and cleans and sanitizes meal service areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; two years of experience may be accepted in lieu of this education.
No prior work experience required.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills.
Complete Food Handler training within six months of hire.
Complete food allergens essentials training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Attend to patient requests for meals, nourishments, and snacks.
Obtain patient meal orders.
Accurately modify menus.
Communicate as needed with the patient services manager, nursing, dietitian, and production staff.
Clean and sanitize meal service areas.
