About The Position

The Hospital Services Technician travels between assigned customer healthcare facilities to provide scheduled, on-site collection and exchange of waste containers for WM Healthcare Solutions programs. Services include Sharps Management, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. The role requires professional interaction with customer staff, adherence to a rigid service schedule, and communicating duty status according to a defined schedule. The position requires on-site presence at customer locations and compliance with customer-mandated immunization requirements. It is safety-sensitive and operates in indoor and outdoor field conditions, including inclement weather, heat, and humidity. The position serves Northwestern Memorial.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
On-site presence at WM Healthcare Solutions customer locations.
Compliance with all mandatory immunization requirements imposed by customer facilities.
Strict compliance with safety rules and protocols.
The posting prefers two years of industry-related customer service experience, or equivalent related work experience, demonstrating strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service.
