About The Position

Under management direction, the Hospital Services Technician travels between customer healthcare facilities to provide scheduled, on-site collection and exchange of waste containers for WM Healthcare Solutions programs. Services include Sharps Management, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. The technician interacts with customer staff, follows assigned service schedules, and communicates duty status. This is a field role involving work both indoors and outdoors, including exposure to inclement weather, heat, and humidity. The position is safety-sensitive and requires compliance with safety protocols and customer immunization requirements. Drug and alcohol testing may be required under applicable regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Be able to meet mandatory immunization requirements imposed by customer locations.
Preferred: 2 years of industry-related experience in a customer service capacity, or equivalent related work experience demonstrating strong communication skills and tact in delivering customer service.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED (accredited).
Two years of industry-related customer service experience, or equivalent related work experience.

Responsibilities

Interact professionally with onsite customer staff to meet or exceed service expectations.
Maintain a rigid collection and service schedule.
Communicate duty status on a defined schedule.
Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
