Full-Time Hospital Housekeeper - 1st Shift
About The Position
Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper for the first shift at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The role is based on a healthcare campus and may involve working in any location on client premises. The housekeeper cleans and maintains facilities in an orderly condition. Responsibilities may vary by account according to business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The hourly pay rate is $15.21. The first shift runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and includes rotating weekends. Benefits may vary by location and are subject to eligibility and work-hour requirements under company policy and state law.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent, required.
- Must complete post-offer medical evaluation, background screening, and drug test.
- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must have the required close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
- May be exposed to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
