About The Position

Xanitos is hiring a full-time Hospital Housekeeper for the first shift at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico. The role cleans and maintains orderly facilities across a healthcare campus and may be assigned to any location on client premises. Responsibilities may vary by account according to business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The listed hourly pay rate is $14.50, with a tentative first-shift schedule of 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Weekends are required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform the physical demands described for the role, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds.
• Required to work weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry.
• Experience with medical cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
