Full-Time Hospital Housekeeper – 1st & 2nd Shift
About The Position
Xanitos, Inc. is hiring full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville in Collierville, Tennessee. The role may be assigned to any location on the client’s premises and involves cleaning and maintaining facilities in a healthcare campus. The position is available on the 1st shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, or the 2nd shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, and includes rotating weekends and occasional holidays. The hourly pay rate is $14.25. The housekeeper performs cleaning and upkeep tasks across patient rooms and other areas, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and work areas. The role also involves transporting small equipment or tools between departments. Responsibilities may vary based on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. Candidates must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Janitorial industry experience and medical cleaning experience are preferred. A post-offer medical assessment, background screening, and drug test are required. The role involves prolonged standing, regular walking and use of hands and arms, frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds, and possible exposure to chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
- Keep facilities or locations in a healthcare campus clean and orderly.
