Full-time Hospital Housekeeper - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Xanitos is hiring Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the second shift at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, Ohio. The role may be performed at any location on the client premises and involves cleaning and maintaining healthcare campus facilities in an orderly condition. Responsibilities may vary by account based on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The tentative schedule is 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. Part-time schedules are also available, potentially up to three days per week. The listed hourly pay rate is $15.00.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent.
- Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.
- Complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform the stated physical tasks, including standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking or hearing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the janitorial industry.
- Medical cleaning experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
