Hospital Housekeeper Full-Time 2nd Shift - Good Samaritan
About The Position
Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper for the second shift at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. The role may be performed at any location on the client’s premises and involves cleaning and maintaining orderly facilities on a health care campus. Responsibilities may vary according to business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The shift is 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and includes rotational weekends and holidays. The hourly pay rate is $16.50. The position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds, along with extended periods standing. Employees may be exposed to chemicals that require special clothing or safety equipment, as well as fumes or airborne particles.
Requirements
- A post-offer medical examination, background screening, and drug test are required.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking; using hands to handle or feel objects and reaching; frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds; and periodically climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Visual abilities include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.

Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
