About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the second shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, Michigan. The role may be performed at any location on the client premises and involves cleaning and maintaining an orderly condition in facilities across a health care campus. Duties may vary by account according to business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The second shift runs from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., includes every other weekend and holiday, and offers a $2.05 shift differential. Qualified candidates may receive immediate offers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent.
• Complete required post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test.
• Ability to meet the listed physical demands, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry.
• Medical cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
