Ambulatory Housekeeper Full Time 1st shift
About The Position
Xanitos is hiring a full-time Ambulatory Housekeeper for Kaiser Permanente Gwinnett Comprehensive Medical Center in Duluth, Georgia. The role keeps ambulatory facility premises clean and orderly by carrying out routine cleaning and housekeeping duties. The position is on the first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and includes rotational weekends. The hourly pay rate is $15.50. The employee cleans patient and shared areas, including rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms. Duties also include cleaning floors and surfaces, dusting and polishing, washing walls and windows, emptying and transporting waste, replenishing bathroom supplies, and transporting small equipment or tools between departments. Qualified candidates may receive immediate offers. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent. Janitorial experience and medical cleaning experience are considered advantages. Post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug testing are required. Physical requirements include prolonged standing, walking, reaching and handling, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of up to 50 pounds. The job may involve exposure to chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
