About The Position

Xanitos is hiring an Ambulatory Housekeeper at Kaiser Permanente Gwinnett Comprehensive Medical Center in Duluth, Georgia. The role maintains ambulatory facilities in clean and orderly condition by carrying out cleaning and related duties. This is a full-time third-shift position, scheduled from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotational weekends. The hourly pay rate is $15.50.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Complete a post-offer medical assessment, background screening, and drug test.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Meet the described physical demands, including standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking or hearing.
• Meet the described vision requirements, with or without corrective lenses.
• May be exposed to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets.
• Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
