About The Position

The Hospital Housekeeper cleans clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and hospital policies. The role also performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor and follows safety, sanitation, waste-handling, and personal-appearance standards.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a service-related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean clinical and non-clinical areas in accordance with departmental and hospital policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Follow procedures for storage, handling, and disposal of regulated medical waste (RMW), hazardous materials, solid waste, and linen.
• Maintain Environmental Services uniform and personal appearance standards.
• Report hazards and unsafe work conditions.
