About The Position

The Environmental Services I Hospitality Associate cleans areas of the facility in accordance with expectations set by the center’s leadership team. The role supports safety, sanitation, patient experience, and efficient use of cleaning supplies and resources. The position is at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, a 200-plus-bed acute-care facility north of Austin, Texas.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in healthcare.
At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a service-related field.

Responsibilities

Follow safety and sanitation expectations.
Maintain Environmental Services uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.
Report hazards and unsafe work conditions.
Collaborate with leadership and recommend ways to improve the patient experience.
Identify under-serviced or unserviced areas and determine how services can be provided.
Adapt cleaning processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Use supplies and resources correctly to eliminate waste.
