About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time EVS Hospital Housekeepers at Longview Regional Medical Center in Longview, Texas. Housekeepers may work in any location on the client premises and clean and maintain facilities or locations in a health care campus. Responsibilities may vary by account based on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The hourly pay rate is $11.50, and a sign-on bonus is offered. Shifts are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., and 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotational weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
Complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to meet the position's physical demands, including standing, walking, handling and reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking or hearing.
Required visual abilities include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the janitorial industry.
Medical cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Polish metalwork.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replenish bathroom supplies.
Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
