About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the second shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, Michigan. The role cleans and maintains facilities and locations across a healthcare campus. Responsibilities may vary by account based on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The shift runs from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and includes every other weekend and holiday. Immediate offers will be extended to qualified candidates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent, required.
• A post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test are required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform the physical demands described, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to meet the stated vision requirements, with or without corrective lenses.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
