About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a part-time Hospital Housekeeper at McLaren Oxford in Oxford, Michigan. The role involves cleaning and maintaining orderly facilities at a healthcare campus and may be performed at any location on client premises. Responsibilities may vary depending on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The position pays $15.00 per hour and is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., including rotating weekends. Qualified candidates may receive immediate offers.

Requirements

• Complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug testing.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing and walking regularly; using hands to handle or feel objects; reaching; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and talking or hearing.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform visual tasks involving close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus, with or without corrective lenses.
• Ability to work with possible exposure to chemicals that may require special clothing or safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
